Prima and Gally
The divas of the farm! They were our first rescues through Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue. They have been here the longest and we can trust them completely which makes them great role models for new animals. They are also very patient with nervous people and children. We absolutely adore them!!
Toughy and Miracle
Toughy is a 29-year-old quarter horse. He and Frank and learned a lot from each other in their 19 years together. Toughy is officially retired for the past two years. He has had a wonderful life as a show horse and lesson horse. He sets the tone in the barn and is always the first to let us know when something isn’t right. Miracle the mini has been here for a few years and recently has been struggling with some health issues. She is on special medication and supplements along with more frequent farrier and vet visits. We hope to see a turnaround soon because we love and miss her spunky attitude.
Kong and Trevor
Kong is an American mammoth and Trevor is a Cyprus donkey. They both originated in Texas where our friend Diana pulled them from a kill pen. Trevor spent some time in Maine where his needs were neglected. He arrived here severely underweight and required lots of special attention. Kong needed emotional healing and he has blossomed into a confident boy with the kindest soul. They are an inseparable pair with a very strong bond.
Ollie & Stanley
Our first goats! They came from a lovely home and the owner wanted them to go to a special place when she decided to downsize and move down south. They love attention and will play with any person or animal who is willing to step in their pen.
Wilber and Wilma
They are nicknamed “the grumps”. We have had them for 2 years and they are about 12 years old. They aren’t as warm and fuzzy as the rest but will tolerate a good scratch every now and then. Fridge clean-out day is their favorite
Jinx and Jackson
These boys came here as fosters for PVDR. They were previously adopted out and returned twice. They have some behavioral issues that we are working on but they are so full of love when they want to be. We recently adopted both of them to ensure they spend the rest of their lives in one place with consistent love and care.
Star and Sedona
Another foster pair from PVDR. Their previous owner passed away and they landed here after a few weeks in a temporary foster home. They are a very sweet and gentle pair. We have recently adopted both of them to ensure they always have a forever home! They have become a great addition to the girl's paddock.
Peppa and Pumba
These little guys are new here. We saw them posted looking for a new home and were worried they would end up someone’s dinner. Their previous owners had young children and the pigs were a bit noisy and chaotic so they decided to rehome. They love routines and always know our next move. They keep us laughing every day!
Brody
The baby goats were born here while we were temporarily caring for a friend's goats. She wanted them to have a nice loving home and we certainly didn’t hesitate to keep them here! They will integrate with the bigger goats in the spring when we build a new house and play yard for them all.

George and his girls
Our rooster is so sweet he will eat right out of your hand. He was a little noisy for his last neighborhood but fits in well here. He keeps his girls safe and always makes sure they have enough to eat. Our hens are a bit older and they really appreciate this young guy looking out for them
